Kim Min Jung is confirmed to be taking over for Kim Sa Rang on the upcoming drama 'Mr. Sunshine'.
Previous reports revealed Kim Sa Rang is leaving the 'Mr. Sunshine' cast due to scheduling conflicts. Kim Min Jung was said to be in talks to take the role, and it's now been confirmed.
The tvN drama is expected to be a hit with screenwriter Kim Eun Sook and director Lee Eung Bok, who were behind 'Descendants of the Sun' and 'Goblin', at the helm. Set in the 1900s, tvN's 'Mr. Sunshine' is a melodrama also starring Lee Byung Hun and Lee Tae Ri about a Korean who returns as an American soldier.
'Mr. Sunshine' is expected to premiere in July.
