In midst of the #MeToo Movement, a former model came forward with accusations against Rotta. On the February 28 broadcast of MBC's 'News Desk', the alleged victim shared she was sexually harassed by the photographer 5 years ago during a photo shoot.
She stated, "He started sexually harassing me when the photo shoot started. He suddenly asked me to bite his finger, saying he asks that to all the girls during filming and he kept touching me."
The alleged victim claims she quickly left the sets as his physical contact kept on getting worse even after her rejection.

She also revealed that Rotta texted her after she left and said, "I couldn't hold back because you are so pretty" and sent a full body, nude photo of her, instead of a bust shot as promised.
The alleged victim continued, "I was dumbfounded. But I couldn't reject his request for photo shoots because he had my (nude) photos so I engaged in two more pictorials and then ultimately quit my job as a model."
Rotta denied the accusation and stated, "During filming, I asked the model for her consent and we didn't have any issues then."
Rotta is well known for his controversial photos that resemble 'lolita' concept. Some of the celebrities he worked with include Sulli, Hara, and Dohee.
