The solo artist had an honest talk with 'Grazia' describing her new track "Heroine" in addition to her favorite music genre and unique taste.

The best thing Sunmi thinks she has done is 'change'.
Sunmi commented, "I think it's a way for me to not only get closer to the masses but also to make myself known. 'Gashina' is filled with honest emotions and likewise, I feel a sense of freedom."
As for her music style, Sunmi expressed she wants to create music that's appealing to the masses on a universal level. She described, "I really like music by Mr. Big, The Animals, Korean rock band Sanulrim, and Toto from the old days."
Sunmi continued, "And since I like the minor/indie feel, I always ponder about ways in which my music can be accepted by the general public while creating such music."
In terms of her musical goals, the former Wonder Girls member shared she wants to create music in a fun and exciting way so that everyone can enjoy not only her performances but her vocals as well.
