Recently, it was revealed Fantagio employees have threatened to go on strike after Chinese co-CEO Wei Jie of JC Group - a Chinese company that owns the largest share of the agency - stepped up as the sole head of the label while founder Na Byung Jun was dismissed from his position. It was also reported that Fantagio employees were forced to use their own money for artist expenses due to the termination of corporate cards.

According to Star Today, Ong Seong Wu, one of the artists under Fantagio, expressed concerns about the controversy. While talking on the phone with a Fantagio employee, Ong Seong Wu stated, "I was so surprised to hear about the leave of founder Na Byung Jun. Is everyone including Mr. Na and other employees okay?"
The idol reportedly continued, "I, as well as my fans, think of Na Byung Jun daepyonim as like a father. He's the person who has allowed the current Ong Seong Wu to exist. My fans started a hashtag movement for Mr. Na, and I was so grateful for that. I dearly hope Fantagio family come together in times like this and the issue be resolved as soon as possible."
Currently, YMC Entertainment is in charge of Ong Seong Wu's management, however, the idol will return to Fantagio after Wanna One's disbandment.
