According to the Busan Police Department on January 8, a man identified as 'A' was arrested for intruding into the home of his ex-girlfriend identified as 'B' (26-years-old) and stealing her money.
It's reported that 'A' secretly went into his ex-girlfriend's home back on May 27, and stole her debit card and about 300,000 KRW (280 USD) in cash.

Over the course of 6 months, 'A' made a total of 117 transactions worth about 1,600,000 KRW (1,500 USD) with the stolen debit card to pay for taxi rides, grocery shopping, and more.
Police state his ex-girlfriend was unaware of the debit card activities for 6 months because 'A' immediately deactivated the text message alert for card transactions after stealing it.
It's additionally revealed that 'A' and 'B' originally met through an internet chat, and became a couple. While dating, 'A' memorized the password to 'B's home and he used that to bypass the security door lock and break into her home after their breakup.
