On a recent episode of MBC's 'Radio Star', Sunggyu stated that he has no qualms concerning his outer appearance.

The January 24 episode of the show also featured 2AM's Jo Kwon, GOT7's Jackson, and 2PM's Wooyoung. Yoon Jong Shin stated that "All of you look unique, so it's hard to pick the most good-looking out of the bunch."
Sunggyu said, "I have never had any dissatisfaction with my looks. If I had to choose who is the best-looking out of the people here, I would choose myself."
Wooyoung complimented Jackson by telling him he is handsome, whereas Sunggyu reiterated the fact that he is full of self-love.
