YG Entertainment denies that the runner-up 'Mix Nine' team will debut

YG Entertainmentspoke up on rumors about overseas touring as well as the promotions of the runner-up.

By the end of the show, 'Mix Nine' will pit the final 9 members of the female trainees against the final 9 members of the male trainees to determine which group will earn a chance to debut, in April of 2018. However, reports had surfaced that both female and male teams would be debuting.

On this, YG Entertainment said, "We have not discussed anything about the runner-up team debuting."

On reports that the winning team would be going on a 20-30 city world tour, the label said, "The winning team will debut in April next year and start domestic promotions. We are planning a shocking overseas tour afterward, but it's just in the planning process. There is nothing confirmed about the number of performances or the time period."
