The memorial radio broadcast for the late SHINee's Jonghyun through MBC radio 'Blue Night', scheduled for December 21 at 12AM KST, has been ultimately cancelled.
MBC told news outlets, "After discussing the matter deeply with professionals, we came to the difficult decision to cancel the special, considering the possible social effects of the late idol's voice going on air again." Instead of the memorial broadcast, music critic Lee Dae Hwa will be filling in as a temporary DJ on the evening of December 21.
The late SHINee's Jonghyun previously hosted 'Blue Night' for approximately 1,055 days as its main DJ.
