Here's another freaky character to look out for in tvN's upcoming fantasy drama, 'Hwayugi'!
In addition to the monkey king Son Oh Gong, the monk Xuanzang, the bull demon king, and the pig Zhu Bajie, actress Lee Sae Young will be playing the role of an actual zombie girl!
In the drama, Lee Sae Young's character is the body of a girl who was murdered and dumped in a trash dump, but who coincidentally comes back to life as a zombie thanks to the magic of Xuanzang's blood. However, her brain has deteriorated to the point where she doesn't remember who she is or how she died, and she mainly preoccupies herself with making her zombie self prettier and less zombie-like.
