On December 6, actor Joo Won had the privilege to meet with Chairman of the National Assembly Chung Se Kyun at the 3rd Infantry Division where he received a gift upon delivery.
In addition to Chairman Chung, representatives from the Democratic Party were also present.� The politicians took the time to visit Joo Won at his military base where they took a photo together.
Shaking the actor's hand, Chairman Chung asked, "How long do you have to serve in the army? Since you're a private first class soldier."
Hearing this, Joo Won responded, "I still have a long way to go, sir."
Meanwhile, Joo Won entered the army recruiting center located in Kangwon Province this past July and is currently serving in the 3rd Infantry Division.� He is set to be discharged on February 15, 2019.
