On December 8, Jung PD told TV Report over the phone, "After the 1st season had ended, we headed down to Jeju Island a couple of times to wrap things up. During that time, we discussed 'how about going for another shot' and decided to take some time to think about it."

When asked how Lee Hyori agreed to shoot the second season, Jung PD commented, "She said she had joyful memories of spending quality time with both celeb/non-celeb guests rather comfortably, and without any strife. The memories with guests made a huge impact on her overall decision."
As of now, 'Hyori's Bed & Breakfast's official homepage is down due to high traffic volume. According to Jung PD, more than 20,000 applications have been sent in already, hoping to stay at the guest house. "The participation criterion will be the same as the 1st season."
Jung PD also mentioned the viewers anticipating the next season. "The reason why people liked our show so much is that both students and workers alike were able to kick back and tune into the series on Sunday nights before they head to work/school the next day. It's also a nice change for the staff, who will get the chance to experience Jeju Island's winter scenery. Likewise, both Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon are looking forward to greeting viewers."
