With achieving a certified all-kill, topping various music charts, DEAN revealed some backstory on creating his hit track.  When asked, "The lyrics of Instagram mentions a woman looking pretty with short hair, isn't that referring to your ex-girlfriend?"

Hearing this, DEAN responded, "I think so.  I chatted with many people about the overall theme and I think it boils down a relationship between an ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend. That's why it's a sad, dramatic ending.  The key point was that the person looked up his/her ex's Instagram page and so that's how I decided to end the song."

When he was asked if he had ever visited his ex-girlfriend's Instagram page himself, DEAN commented, "I like creating honest music.  The photos I put up are my ideal feelings and in such a superficial world like this one, I wondered about the one person who truly knew me."
