On December 18, media outlet Bloomberg revealed the interview they recently had with Bang PD. According to the report, Bang Si Hyuk is currently focusing heavily on BTS; however, he plans to use his 'success formula' to launch a new boy group that can break into the Western market.
"Though he's currently focused on BTS, Bang said he's preparing to introduce a new boy band using a 'success formula' that could be replicated with other K-pop bands seeking to break into the U.S. charts. He's weighing whether to team up with a music giant or go it alone and directly strike deals with U.S. music labels, radio promoters and public-relations firms, Bang said." - Bang Si Hyuk talking with Bloomberg
He did not explain in detail about his 'success formula', but Bloomberg assumes the tactic is associated with social media.
