Did you ever wonder if idols were actually a little older or a little younger than they claimed to be?
Netizens have discovered in addition to Bora's odd birthday mishap from earlier this year, fellow former SISTAR member Hyorin also used a false birthday during the group's promotions. Many know of Hyorin's birthday as January 11, 1991. However, now that she is no longer a part of her former label Starship Entertainment, her official profile information on major domestic search engines has been changed and updated accordingly.
It turns out, Hyorin's real birthday is December 11, 1990. Netizens made a similar discovery back in June, when Bora's official profile was updated to reflect her real birthday: December 30, 1989 (Fans knew Bora's birthday as January 30, 1990 for many years). In response to Bora's birthday mishap, her new label Hook Entertainment had released a vague statement with, "It's not that she was lying about her age. It's only a month," and "It seems her real birthday and her registered birthday are different."

Some netizens are finding the discovery hard to believe, and said, "They must not have been able to reveal their real birthdays because of their former labels", "So when fans wish them 'Happy Birthday' it's not actually their birthday, that's harsh", "How did they not get caught? Their school friends never said anything?", "I heard 4 members in Cosmic Girls have false birthdays too", "It's just a month, so why did they change it?", and more.
Meanwhile, Hyorin recently announced the establishment of her own, one-person label, Brid3. What do you think about the discovery?
