The murderer of actress Song Seon Mi's late husband has plead guilty.
On November 2, the Seoul Central District Court held its first trial against 28-year-old Mr. Cho, who stood accused of murdering Mr. Ko following promises of money from Mr. Ko's cousin, Mr. Kwak. Though he initially denied the murder was premeditated and feigned mental illness, Cho plead guilty, stating, "I admit the prosecution's charges. I admit to committing the murder."
Cho also admitted to being offered monetary compensation in the amount of 2 billion KRW (approximately 1.8 million USD) from Kwak in exchange for murdering Song Seon Mi's husband.
The court will hold a second trial on November 10.
