Girls' Generation's Taeyeon took on her first ever showcase hosting gig for Red Velvet.
On November 16, Red Velvet held the showcase for their 2nd full-length album 'Perfect Velvet', and fans were excited to see Taeyeon as the MC. The Red Velvet members said of their SM Entertainment sunbae, "We heard that Taeyeon sunbae has never done hosting for someone else before. We're so thankful as she's always such an affectionate and comfortable unni and sunbae to us."
Taeyeon expressed, "Though this isn't my own showcase, I get to be the MC for Red Velvet, who are juniors I personally really like."
Yeri also commented on the different generations of the SME girl groups, saying, "Rather than a different generation, I'd like for Red Velvet to impress people with their own color. It's an honor to hear that we're the next generation of SM girl groups, but I wonder if it'll really be that way."
