During the November 11 episode of 'The Unit', a group of contestants who received "0 boots" entered to join the rest of the girls who are participating in the show. At which time one of the contestants jokingly said, "We shouldn't get jealous of one another and should accept everyone with a positive mind. If not, rumors of bullying will circulate." It was then when Ahreum gained attention from the viewers by saying, "Aren't there usually at least one rumor of bullying per team (K-pop group)?"
This comment caught the eyes of the viewers as she left T-ara only after a year due to a bullying controversy in which she neither accepted nor denied on the first episode of 'The Unit'.
