It's been reported that rapper Dok2 suffered from an incident involving the theft of one of his prized cars.
Police told news outlets that the rapper's red Ferrari, priced at approximately 400,000,000 KRW (~370,000 USD), was stolen, found in the hands of an illegal used car depot business, then fortunately, recovered.
Back in June, Dok2 lent his Ferrari to a friend 'A'. Friend A was then scammed by a rental car business representative, who told A that they would pay 1,000,000 KRW (~ 900 USD) to borrow the car for one day. The car was then handed over to a used car depot.
Afterward, the GPS tracking service inside the car sent Dok2 a warning text message. Dok2 reacted immediately by calling the police, and the police were able to find the used car depot business before the Ferrari was sold.
Dok2 is known for owning 7 foreign luxury cars, including the famous red Ferrari. The illegal used car depot business responsible for the theft of Dok2's car currently faces criminal investigation for distributing approximately 100 cars illegally.
Thank goodness for automatic GPS tracking!
