CL opened up about what she will be showing through the variety show. Regarding what she's been up to lately, she shared, "It's been about 3 years since I went to the U.S. to prepare for my activities there. I decided I would appear on this program because I wanted to show fans how I've been doing and how my U.S. activities have been going. Starting anew in the U.S. alone was not an easy decision. As such, I didn't want to rush, but have plenty of time. I'm almost ready, so I want to show those final steps."
She continued, "I also have the desire to show those who look up to me and hope to become singers, that 'They can do it' too. Our career is not something that happens systematically in a simple order, but one where we build up the substance day after day. I wanted to frame that formula and lifestyle. In some ways, I hope this broadcast can become a 'manual'."
CL will also have an honest talk about 2NE1's disbandment during her time on the show. 'Livin' the Double Life' starring CL, Taeyang, and Oh Hyuk, MC-ed by Jung Hyung Don, Defconn, Kush, and Yoo Se Yoon, is set to premiere on November 23 at 10:50 PM KST.
