On October 13, 'The Unit' unveiled the official MV of "My Turn" which aired on 'Music Bank'.
Upon seeing the broadcast, netizens pointed out the similarities between popular Japanese idol group AKB48's concert stage.

For one, the opening act of 'The Unit' featured four levels with participants standing in a straight line within separate sections. Netizens commented saying it was an act of plagiarism, copying AKB48's opening performance from their 2012 Tokyo Dome concert 1830m.
During that time, the girls formed a straight line standing inside individual sections. The only differences between the two acts seem to be the color of the clothes and stage lighting direction, in addition to the number of singers present.

In response to this, some netizens are defending 'The Unit', saying, "This is something done quite commonly, it's not plagiarizing, we've all seen this already." Meanwhile, 'The Unit' is set to air on October 28.
