During the show, the artist explained to the audience and viewers what made her decide to work with JYP Entertainment once again. She said, "I was thinking of two things at the time. I was debating between working with the same people whom I've been with all this time versus going to a new place and starting a new challenge for myself. In the end, I decided to renew my contract with the company that has raised me up until now. I thought that I would just work hard once again and if it doesn't work out, it would be fine to just move in the future."

J.Y. Park also revealed that he did not contact Suzy during the renewal decision period for 4 months. He said, "I thought if I called her during the period, it would put pressure and burden on her so I decided not to contact her at the time. I heard her contract conditions but it didn't have anything to do with money. She renewed her contract with a sense of trust and loyalty. If that was the case, there was no need to prolong the period."
