At just 15 years old (in Korean age), he had received all the love from the hyungs on the show. He had been 166cm (5' 5") at the beginning of the show when filming started in March this year, and the other contestants had guessed he'd grow up to be tall because he was so young still.

Even while he promoted with TheEastLight this summer, he was still pretty much a baby. However, in the short time since the end of "I Got You" promotions and now, he's grown to be a whopping 174 cm (5' 8.5"). That means he's grown 8 cm (3.5") in just a span of 7 months. Fans are amazed by how much he's grown in such a short time and even left comments such as "Is someone watering him? Why is he growing so much?" and "The next time Kang Daniel sees him, he's gonna be taller."
