Actor Kim Joo Hyuk died as the result of a car accident Monday evening at around 6:30pm KST on October 30 in Samseong-dong, Seoul.
Kim's Mercedes-Benz SUV was driving down Yeongdong Daero when it crashed into another vehicle near an I-Park apartment complex in Samseong-dong. Kim's car then crashed into the wall of an apartment complex and flipped down the stairs.
Kim was removed from the vehicle at around 5:07pm and taken to Konkuk University Medical Center, where he died at the hospital at around 6:30pm. It has been reported that Kim's residence in Cheongdam-dong, is only three minutes by car from the site of the accident. The exact cause it yet unknown.
