According to JTBC's exclusive report on October 17, an anonymous person was discovered to be selling idol members' private flight information via Twitter DM's.
To the JTBC reporter who was undercover as a sasaeng fan, the anonymous seller requested 28.60 USD via PayPal for the airline information and 22.10 USD per member for their respective seat numbers. The idol's flight information was given out instantly when the money was transferred. It's assumed the anonymous seller behind the illegal act is an airline employee.

In addition to idols, the flight information of political figures was also found to be on sale. The sale of private information is illegal, and also considered a dangerous act that can aid in terrorism.
