During the recording session, Sunmi opened up about her experiences performing solo since Wonder Girls' disbandment and signing under a new agency.

"I had a long discussion with the composition staff in preparing for my first solo song since switching labels.  I poured out all of my passion for this project, even creating a PPT on my own for the overall concept."

Following this, J.Y. Park shared his thoughts, "Honestly, I was really worried about sending Sunmi off to a different agency."  He explained, "Yes, it's true that there are many talented producers out there besides myself but since I looked after Sunmi for all these years, I wondered if she'll ever meet another producer who possesses those same skills."

However the founder of JYP Entertainment went on to say, "After seeing Sunmi participate in the writing/composing aspect in one of Wonder Girls' albums, I was able to send her off with ease. I still do get nervous though every time I see Sunmi go on stage."
