On September 18, BTS introduced their new mini album 'Love Yourself: Her' at the press conference in Lotte Hotel Seoul.�
While talking about the inspiration behind their new album, Rap Monster�revealed former U.S. President Barack Obama�played a role in the track ''MIC Drop''. He explained, "The mic drop by former President Obama after his�speech went viral. It's an act of completing a speech and it also tends to mean my speech was cool."

Rap Monster continued, "The track related to that is 'MIC Drop'. It's a song that includes our swag, ambition, and confidence, and it was inspired by Obama's performance."
