On September 27, B1A4 guested on 'Weekly Idol'. During the show, MC Jung Hyung Don and Defconn complimented Jinyoung, saying, "He's the idol that's #1 for royalty payments."
Jinyoung was modest as he explained, "It's not really like that but I probably am for self-composed songs entirely produced by one person."

Many idols tend to release self-composed music nowadays, however, it's uncommon for it to be entirely produced by one artist. It's reported that Jinyoung produced a total of 45 tracks in 2016, and 35 of them were entirely produced by him alone. Meanwhile, G-Dragon had a total of 16 self-composed tracks in 2016, and 6 of them were solely produced by him. Zico also had 85 self-composed tracks last year but only 2 were solely produced by him.
Netizens expressed amazement at Jinyoung's talent, and commented, "There are usually multiple artists that work together on self-composed tracks. I was surprised Jinyoung does it all by himself. I didn't really know but he's really talented", "There are hidden composers behind self-composed tracks. A lot of artists just change up the sampling, too. He's probably the only idol who truly produces self-composed tracks."
