The drama is set inside a fictional label, where a producer starts feeling doubtful about making stars after producing several popular idols. The story starts when the producer comes back after a hiatus and starts to produce a co-ed group from the trainees that the labels have given up on.

Kim Hee Jung�and Hwang Seung Un�have been cast as the lead. Akdong Musician's Suhyun�and JBJ's Kwon Hyun Bin�have also been cast as members of the same idol group.�
The drama will be called 'Temporary Idols', and the staff have reported that another unpredictable character will be joining the group. The drama will have ten, 15-minute episodes and air online in mid-November.
