On August 1, Kangnam's agencyRD Entertainment told media outlets, "It's true he and UEE recently broke up. They naturally grew apart due to their busy schedules," confirming their 3-month relationship has come to an end. UEE's label Yeoreum Entertainmentalso stated, "Kangnam and UEE recently broke up. They each focused on their work and naturally separated. They've decided to remain as colleagues who will cheer each other on."
However, other unofficial reports are speculating the two stars were unable to handle the burden of their relationship in thepublic eye, which caused them to go their separate ways.
As previously reported, the celebrity romance had a rocky start with UEE's sidedenying dating rumorstwice. Both she and Kangnam confirmed they weredating last monthafterphotosanda videoof the two on a date emerged on July 14. The two met as castmates on the adventure reality series 'Law of the Jungle'.
