On August 28, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agencyannounced that T.O.P has been assignedreservist status by theMinistry of National Defense. He will be transferred from the police department on the 28th and continue his remaining mandatory service.

To OSEN,YG Entertainment commented, "He will complete his remaining mandatory service with utmost sincerity and hard effort."
Back in February, T.O.P started his mandatory service as a conscripted policeman. In June, he was officially stripped of his military police titledue to the marijuana scandal. Ultimately, he has been sentenced to two years of probation with 10 months of prison if probation is broken, as well as a fine of 12,000 KRW (approximately 10 USD).
