Lee Hi received a chance to sing "Breathe" on the show. Before she started singing, she explained a little bit about the song. Lee Hi said, "At the time, I couldn't really breathe well. I had a slight panic disorder. There was a sense of suffocation that couldn't be explained through words because I couldn't do the music I enjoyed as I pleased."
She continued, "I didn't realize I wasn't able to breathe well because I'm not sensitive (slow to react) to stuff like that. I went to the hospital after trying to breathe into a plastic bag and failing. I wanted to help those individuals who are having difficult times breathing just like me and give them a moment to rest now."
Afterward, she sang the beautiful song and immediately started crying. She said, "I really don't cry and I don't like to cry. I don't like other people seeing me cry either."
J.Y. Park comforted her and said, "It's okay to cry...As celebrities, it's difficult to express our hardships to the public because no matter how much we say it's hard for us, we as public figures receive so many special treatments. The pace in which we make money is different and there are too many positive aspects that it's hard to express our difficult times."
