The news of the 'Produce 101' contestant father's passing made headlines on July 4, and Pledis Entertainmentconfirmed, "Kang Dong Ho's father passed away on the 3rd because of an accident. Kang Dong Ho went to Jeju Island as soon as he heard the news to attend to funeral matters."
The label added, "Kang Dong Ho was very traumatized, and he's currently going through a hard time." His father's funeral will be held on the 6th.
