Black Pink successfully hold their debut showcase at Budokan in Japan

On July 20, Black Pink successfully launched their debut showcase overseas at the prestigious venue Budokan in Tokyo, Japan.


YG Entertainment�founder�Yang Hyun Suk also attended the special event to cheer for his girls. �He even surprised fans by posting a short video clip via Instagram, illustrating the exciting atmosphere.


The footage revealed Black Pink opening with their debut song "BOOMBAYAH" as the audience exploded with loud cheers.


Budokan is a large arena holding more than 10,000 seats and is exclusively reserved for top artists to perform. �Not even a year into their debut, it was impressive that Black Pink was able to hold their�debut showcase at�this well-respected venue.


Following their showcase, Black Pink is set to release their official debut album in Japan on August 9.
