Comedian Shim Jin Hwa drew the sympathy of netizens.
She posted two photos on her Instagrammaking light of a pretty sad situation where no one came to her birthday party. She first posted,

She wrote, "A birthday without my husband. He's gone on a business trip for 2 nights and 3 days so I figured I'd have a birthday party..I told people to come by 5, but no one came... So I just started by myself.. Hehe.. I'm okay." The plates and food set up, with no one sitting anywhere.
She then posted,
The caption read, "[Posting this] so people who didn't come will feel bad. I cried a lot. I guess I didn't really lead a good life. But it really was kind of sad."
Many netizens showed sympathy for her, saying that they wish they could have been to her birthday party instead, and that those invited should have at least told her they couldn't come.
Either way, at least she's trying to make the situation a little lighter.
