After Highlight released their repackaged album title track "Calling You", his Instagram had been flooded with hate comments telling him to stop taking so many vocal parts, to stop his 'vocal greed' as the rapper of the group, and so on.

He wrote, "Don't just spill out in writing what you're thinking by yourself in your head, and keep it as your memory!! Just because I'm smiling doesn't mean I want to just accept all of it! I said multiple times that it's an album all the members talked about together.. I know not everyone will like it, but please don't go overboard. It's late, so go to sleep already."
However, he ultimately ended up deleting all his posts and then setting his account to private when the comments refused to stop.
