A phone interview was conducted with entertainment reporter Kim Myo Sung who had exclusively reported on the drunk driving case.  Reporter Kim stated, "It would have been better to admit to the truth, the fact that his drunk driving had been brought to light.  He made it worse by lying, saying he didn't even drive 1 kilometer, it doesn't make any sense."

Ha ji Young read some of the netizen's comments, "Kim Hyun Joong's mental state seems unstable at the moment."

Reporter Kim then brought up the previous girlfriend incident, "Back when the case was still on fire, he would often close the curtains and stay indoors with all the lights turned off," referring to the singer's mental health.

During that time, Kim Hyun Joong's parents stated honestly over the phone, "We hope that the truth will be uncovered.  It's not about accusing the other person of wrongdoing, but we just want everything, even our son's wrongdoings to be unveiled."

However, recently it seems it was difficult to conduct an interview with the star's family as their phones have been shut off.

Meanwhile, singer/actor Kim Hyun Joong was caught driving under the influence in Seoul on March 26.
