SEE ALSO: Kang Hoon reveals he became an actor thanks to Girls' Generation's Taeyeon
As Taeyeon filmed for the show on March, which happens to be White Day, Yoo Hee Yeol prepared a jumbo-sized lollipop and handed it to Taeyeon. Yoo Hee Yeol also said it's been around a year since you last came on the show and Taeyeon said that she kept herself busy since then in working on her album, filming CF's, and more.
Yoo Hee Yeol then talked about meeting Girls' Generation for the first time on the 14th episode of his show around eight years ago in 2009. He was amazed at Taeyeon's youthful appearance, saying she hasn't aged a day since to which Taeyeon said that was ages ago. When Taeyeon asked, "How long ago was it again?" Yoo Hee Yeol said "ship pahl" so it sounded like he said 18 years ago which surprised Taeyeon and made for a laughing moment. Taeyeon then said. "I'm 29 now but back then I think it was during the time we were singing 'Gee,' it was a time when we were so young."
Yoo Hee Yeol also asked her how many albums she sold and Taeyeon replied, "I think it was around 130,000 copies," which amazed Yoo Hee Yeol. The MC said it's amazing to sell 100,000 albums but to sell 130,000 is really impressive and Taeyeon said she was surprised herself. When asked if there was a composer Taeyeon wanted to work with, Taeyeon replied, "Jung Joon Il... truthfully, I received a song from him." To which Yoo Hee Yeol replied, "Ahh... you must have disliked the song. If you're not gonna use it just tell me truthfully since I'm close friends with him." Taeyeon then replied, "It's still in my mail... but in my mind, I'm always thinking about when to use it."
Taeyeon also performed "Fine," "11:11," and a cover of Nell's "Time to Walk through Memories," which was only on the album version of 'My Voice.' Check out the performances below!
