When the MC asked, "You turned 20 years old this year; however, it seems you became a college student last year?" �Hearing this, Seo Shin Ae replied, "After junior high, instead of going straight to high school I decided to take the college entrance exam and was accepted into university at age 19."
As for homeschooling, "My parents were against it. But I did stick to a plan and I wanted to become an actress. I was interested in learning different languages at that time so I discussed it with them."
Seo Shin Ae explained the reason behind taking the entrance exam, "High school is the next step into college. But I didn't want to hinder any of the students because of me missing out on school days from my busy schedule."
When asked whether or not homeschooling was difficult, she commented, "I actually took my time studying for a month and took the exam. I received a perfect score in English," surprising the audience.
