He also sat down for an interview and talked about his school life at Georgetown University. Regarding a question about his living situation in the U.S, he said, "Fortunately, I have a Korean roommate [in the U.S]. I prefer living with a roommate, so I suggested it first. If he doesn't come back home until late, I call him. I ask him why isn't he coming home and to only go out on the weekends because I'm lonely. Even before I go to bed, I want to talk about things with my friend."
Roy Kim also said that he misses music and performing when he's in the States. "Over there, I can't perform even if I want to. So I play my guitar and sing by myself all the time. I sing and play so much, my friends find it annoying. They tell me to stop. (Laughter)," he shared.
About his April comeback, Roy Kim commented, "It's not at a stage where I can say, 'This is it,' but I want to make a song people can listen to with ease. A song that feels appropriate for the season or the scenery when you listen to it in the car."
