Kangnam discussed his school life on the March 27 installment of Olive TV's 'Order&Cook.'
He revealed that he was suspended a total of five times while attending high school in Hawaii.
Kangnam went on to create a Hawaiian-style Mapo Tofu Ramen dish while reflecting back on his school days.
"There weren't many schools in Hawaii," he began and continued, "Eventually, I ended up going to an international school in Japan."
When asked the reason for his suspension, the singer commented, "It was because I didn't like studying."
