The driver who media outlets identified as Mr. A stopped his vehicle after hitting several other cars in the way and ended up on the sidewalk.  He then suddenly started the engine while ignoring the warnings of pedestrians to get out of the vehicle and rammed the vehicle forward. Mr. A ran over several pedestrians and ended up on the stairway of Dongam station.

Seeing this, angry onlookers shouted, "Get out, get out! Hurry up and get out!" throwing profanity at the intoxicated driver and eventually dragged him out of the car.

Meanwhile, the injured pedestrians are currently being treated in the hospital after being run over and flung into the air.

The police have confirmed Mr. A to be driving under the influence at the time and will be investigating the incident thoroughly over the next few days.
