On March 16, CEO Park posted an apology on the label's official website. He stated, "I'm here to write an apology regarding the physical assault that took place on February 17, 2017. Before I blame it as an act of drunkenness, I believe the incident occurred due to my carelessness. I'm highly regretful and reflecting on my actions. The victim and I have come to a fair agreement and we've decided to give support and encouragement from now on."

As for the delayed apology, CEO Park stated, "I believed that uploading an apology before the situation clearly gets settled could lead to misunderstandings, so I hope there aren't any misunderstandings now on the delayed apology.
I greatly felt that I need to take responsibility in each and every action as a person in my position. I once again sincerely apologize to the victims and the police."
Shofar Music is the label that's home to popular indie groups Bolppalgan4, Vanilla Acoustic, and Sweden Laundry.
