BTS signs with Def Jam Records in Japan!

Def Jam Records is a�record label owned by Universal Music Group. The American branch in the United States holds artists such as Kanye West, Justin Bieber, Iggy Azalea, Alesso, and more.�

BTS used to be under Pony Records in Japan but they have signed the contract with the Japanese branch of Def Jam. Big Hit Entertainment�will still be managing the group's promotions, however, their activities in Japan will be handled by Def Jam Records.�

The partnership between BTS and Def Jam Records in Japan is expected to have a�great impact in expanding and furthering their Japanese promotions.�

BTS will release their first single under Def Jam in Japan, "Blood Sweat & Tears (Japanese version)" on May 10.
