INFINITE fans are divided over Dongwoo's actions.
In Korea, it is common for fansite masters to hold exhibitions both to raise money and for fellow fans to see the beautiful photos that they've taken. However, it's not that common for an idol to show up to an exhibition by his fansite. Dongwoo showed up to an exhibition and took photos with cream on his cheeks and nose, suggesting there was cake involved. His hand was also caught in a photo with the fansite master drinking wine with her close friends.

Some fans are critical of his decision to not only attend the exhibition, which is problematic in itself because it's a way for fansite masters to make money off of idols and their fans, but also the decision to have wine with the fansite because it creates a sort of hierarchy among fans. However, others are defensive of Dongwoo, saying it must have been an innocent visit.
Woollim Entertainment told eToday, "It's true that he went to the exhibition. But he went just to congratulate her exhibition."
