Following Cube Entertainment's announcement of a brand new B2ST, Hyunseung has come out to say he wasn't aware he was joining a new B2ST, and Around Us Entertainment has also made an official statement.
On February 10, Hyunseung posted to Instagram, "What are they saying... This is the first time I've heard this... I don't plan on doing this either. I used to think stars giving explanations on Instagram was uncool, but I couldn't leave this alone," but the message has since been deleted.
Around Us Entertainment, the new agency of Doojoon, Junhyung, Yoseob, Kikwang, and Dongwoon, has also released a statement. The label commented, "We've been caught off-guard. To be honest, we were discussing about the issue of B2ST's trademark even yesterday. We never thought the news would hit headlines this way. We'll have to discuss it with Cube Entertainment."
