According to the Mapo Police Department, CEO Park (38), manager A, and 2 other label representatives were arrested for physical assault.
On the night of February 17, CEO Park allegedly got in a fight with the part-time employee B (28) of a restaurant. The brawl reportedly started after the employee informed Park about the restaurant's approaching closing hour. Park, who was reportedly drunk, responded in fury, physically and verbally assaulting the employee and his friend. The CEO also violently reacted to the police.
Currently, employee B is hospitalized with 2 weeks of recommended rest.
A rep of Shofar Music spoke up about the incident on February 20, and said, "It's true that he was investigated but we believe the case positively drew to a close. It's the CEO's personal issue. There is no relation to Bolppalgan4 whatsoever. It's also unconfirmed rather or not the CEO physically harmed the police."
Shofar Music is the label that's home to popular indie groups Bolppalgan4, Vanilla Acoustic, and Sweden Laundry.
