During the interview, he showed his unending love for his fans, mentioning them every chance he got. On his crazy antics on Instagram, he said, "It's because I can't do that all the time. The reason why I do SNS is solely for my fans. Once, I couldn't sleep when it was really late at night. So I filmed videos from late at night and up to when I got ready. My fans are used to it, and they say, 'Ah, he's at it again,' or 'You're being a maniac.' I don't regret it. Fans love it. I'm someone who does everything for Melody (BTOB's fanclub name). Haha."

When asked about his growth process after debuting while he was in high school, he said, "I really like [that fans watched me grow]. They're watching over me as I age. I was innocent when I was in my teens, and now I have some kind of a surprise charm. Recently, I'm starting to look more and more like a man... Hehe. The bone structure in my face is getting stronger, and my T-zone is emphasized. I think if I debuted late, I wouldn't have been able to show my fans an immature, mischievous side of me, so I would've been sad. I think it would've been okay even if I debuted earlier. I think if I treat my fans well and show them all I can, it all comes back. It's like when fans support me and cheer for me no matter what, whether it's a concert, an overseas schedule, or anything."
