Actor Go Soo talks about his character transformation for upcoming film 'Lucid Dream'

With an impressive lineup of actors, fans will be taken aback as Go Soo, known for his charisma, will be playing the role of an uncle with a bulging belly this time.

Go Soo will be acting as Daeho, a middle-aged journalist with two children. He suddenly loses his son at the park one day after getting anonymously attacked�and attempts to use the technique of 'Lucid Dream's to find the culprit.

The actor explained his rigorous weight transformation to match his character from getting to be up to 80kg (176 pounds) to losing 17-18 kg (37-38 pounds) in just a week! "At first I wondered how much an average man would weigh. Then in order to depict my character's emotional distress, I shed the pounds. It's not something new to me. I have the�type of body that has to work out in order to lose weight. I do tend to gain some weight though not as much as seen in the film," he said.�

When asked what his goals were for this year, he commented, "Goals? It always seems out of reach to me... I feel like I am always learning and progressing. I will do my best to present work of good quality."

Meanwhile, some have been comparing 'Lucid Dream' to Hollywood film 'Inception' due to its similar concept of going back and forth between fantasy and reality.
