Kai will be playing energetic, 'beagle'-like 18 year old Si Kyung, who's gotten to an age where he's taken a liking to being rebellious and defiant. In the story, as punishment for lying to his mom, he's forced to move from Seoul to a country school. The school he ends up attending is one where students have to volunteer at a hospice ward. As he meets all kinds of people on the brink of death, he comes to realize the true meaning of life, and learns to believe in the power of love.
UBI Culture said, "Casting EXO's Kai, who sits on an unrivaled pedestal in K-Pop, will dedicate viewers' explosive attention [to the drama]. Since it was difficult to see a drama that viewers of all ages could enjoy, the staff and actors have become one heart to do our best to create a production with both a trendy comedy and a moving message to warm viewers' hearts."
UBI Culture is also the production company who produced hi-teen drama 'High School Love On', while the writers of hit hi-teen drama 'Sharp #2' will be working on the script for 'Killer School'.
