Veteran idol Eric commented on B2ST's situation during a recent interview. B2ST left Cube Entertainment to form their own label, leading to the loss of rights to their past songs and even group name.

Eric first said, "When the company and group stands opposite in viewpoints, the most important thing is that the members are of the same opinion. They must speak in one voice. The basics are important."
Shinhwa had undergone legal steps to preserve their right to the trademark name 'Shinhwa' since 2012. During the legal battle, in 2013, Shinhwa released an album using only a logo rather than the name. Then, in 2015, they finally got their name back.
He said, "I myself do not know what is the answer to the problem that B2ST is going through. Fundamentally, the members are joined together and of the same mind, so no matter the method, there will be a breakthrough. I wish that the result would make everyone happy."
